Maybe you need to learn more about drone programming to bridge the gap between reality and the drone goal you want to accomplish. It teaches the complete ardupilot software stack, allows you to program on a simulated drone (to be confident your code works before testing on a real drone), and will give you the tools to do advanced projects on your Raspberry Pi drone.
